પરિચય અપવો એ ઘણું મુશ્કેલ કાર્ય છે. ઍક વખત આપ્યો હતો કિંતુ કમપ્યુટર વાપરવાની અણઆવડત ને કારણે ભુંસાઈ ગયો. જીવનમા યુવાની આવે ત્યારે બાળપણ અને ઘડપણ આવે ત્યારે યુવાની ભૂંસાઈ જાય તેમ. ખેર હવે તો સવા વર્ષથી મળીએ છીએ એટલે શું પરિચય આપું?
૨૧મી સદીની કમાલ જુઓ વગર જોએ,વગર સગાઈએ આપણે ઘરોબો કેળવ્યો છે. બસ તમારો પ્રેમ નિરંતર મળતો રહે. ૩૦ વર્ષનો અમેરિકાનો વસવાટ છતાંય આપણા મૂળભૂત સંસ્કાર ટકાવી રાખ્યા છે. મુંબઈમાં જન્મ, ફેલોશિપ શાળામા અભ્યાસ અને વિલ્સન કોલેજની જીંદગીને ભાથામાં બાંધી વહાલસોયા પતિની સંગે બે બાળકો સાથે અંહી આવી વસવાટ કર્યો.સંસારની જવાબદારી અને બાળકોની પ્રેમાળ સરભરામા સાહિત્યતો ક્યાંક ઘરને ખૂણે ભરાઈ બેઠું હતું. જ્યારે કુદરતે અણધાર્યું વાવાઝોડુ સર્જી અંતરમા ખળભળાટ મચાવ્યો ત્યારે પાછી સાહિત્યને શરણે આવી શાંતિને વરી.
કલમ અને કાગળને સહારે અંતરના ભાવ ઠાલવી જીવનની હોડી હંકારી.બાળકો પ્રભુની દયાથી ખૂબ સુખી છે. કિલકિલાટ કરતું ઘરનું આંગણ ત્રણ પૌત્ર અને બે પૌત્રીથી ગુંજી રહ્યું છે. દિકરીની જ્ગ્યા બે પ્રેમાળ વહુઓથી પૂરાઈ છે. મને લાગે છે આટલું પૂરતું છે. હા, બંને વહુવારુઓના પ્રેમ તથા આગ્રહને માન આપી ૧૯૯૭ મા “સમર્પણ” ભક્તિ અને ભજનના ભાવ ભરી ગીતોની કેસેટ બહાર પાડી હતી. ૨૦૦૪ મા “અંતરનો અવાજ ” નામની પુસ્તિકા.
